Was he picking up sausages? It looks like.

Was it a beetle larva (something like a sausage in a sense...?)

He was not very cautious so much, so that I was a little worried.

It's October and the dragonflies seem to be movement slowing down.

It caught such a dragonfly flying.

After this, did the dragonfly change into “Hayanie” (winter preserved food) ...?

* 103rd is a missing number.

 What are you doing? 102th

As I was eating lunch at a table in the garden of a mountain hut, it approached me on foot.

I was able to photograph the moment it flew away, but it is rare to see one up close even in the mountains.

Seeing climbers and approaching them may be part of their routine in the hopes of picking something up to eat?

 What are you doing? 101th

There were five children with their mother, one of them in the shadow of Siberian Dwarf Pine in the foreground.

A climber was approaching from behind, so they got a little nervous and moved with flapping their wings.

They had grown to the point where they can fly.

I encountered them somewhere between Mt. Higashitenjyou and Mt. Otenshou.
