It is swinging vigorously a discarded old scrubbing brush. (That is a bit of an exaggeration!? )

It may collect a nest material. Oh it is scrap and recycle!

"Sweeping fallen leaves is so tiresome...I hate it..."

Good news for a person who has such a large garden.

Look at him! It is very easy for him to sweep fallen leaves.

How about one in your family?

Is he worrying about a hard life or has trouble getting today's lunch?

Actually it comes out his nictitating membrane in his eye with good (bad) timing.

He may say "What a camera man !"

It brings leaves of poplar to nest, but for what? I think variously but I do not find the reason.

Anyway I have to say " It's so dangerous! Look ahead of you when you fly! "

Finally here Japan the bird who can sing and dance!! No way!

But we may not know such as a bird of paradise dances a secret courtship dance somewhere in Japan.

It preens its head by leg, looks it puts on glove like a children's toy.

Like 3 fingers glove, so is it a first mitt??

It is collecting nest material. After watching for a while, it plants feet firmly to pull dry grass.

I am concerned about you cannot pull up that dry grass because it is withered grass stem.

It dives at Hikari dam in Toyoshina and coming to the surface in bubbles....

Is it looking for feed? Or is it a variation of a water bath? I do not know...

It is escaping by hopping from the base of Japanese red pine at the picnic square in Matsumoto AlpsPark.
