Autumn migration fair.

Migrating bulbuls on September 30, 2016 (photo above).

Whenever a flock of birds approaches, I look around to see whether there is any other bird mingling

A few years ago, there was a person talking " Eurasian Hoopoe was in it, and I was able to shoot it!!"

So I've been keeping an eye on it ever since.

When can I see it in the blue sky background?

The blue sky background photo was taken in 2013.

The bird was preening its belly.

The point of interest is the tarsus, which can be seen to be flattened.

It looks like it's going smoothly, and this species is catching fish in the water, so it must be a form suitable for life.

It had a greenish neck.

It was diving in the spring sea.

When I was watching what it was catching, it had something that looked like a small squid in its beak.

I was in a fishing port, and a man who seems to be a neighbor was scooping up what looked like squid

with a long-handled net, so I wondered if it was a firefly squid?

It's not about the funny behavior .

It would be difficult to see the condition of these plumage in plain...

Is it okay if it is transitioning from juvenile plumage to the first winter plumage?

It has juvenile horns and cute tail feathers. It was less cautious than adult and actively pecked at

small insects.

With such a look, it seems that its prey will treat it lightly! .

Even though it is a child, it is still a hawk, so can't it do somehow...?

Well then, is it going to catch its prey off guard by saying,

"I am your friend's raptor~♡"

For this bird, this caterpillar was quite large.

This photo was taken while it was moving to a tree several dozen meters away from the flock.

Perhaps this caterpillar was too big to be eaten quickly, so it evacuated because it was wary of being

stolen by its fellow. .

Togakushi in spring.

When I was watching the courtship behavior of the Great Spotted Woodpecker at the Togakushi Forest

Botanical Garden, I heard a loud bang behind me.

Turn around and see what you see! Is it a Montane brown frog that became part of the duck?

It was staring at the ground and soon pecking at a worm.

What is the technique for finding earthworms in the soil?

Are they familiar with the habits of earthworms?

As an aside, it also appeared in the poster for the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics.

It belongs to the order charadriiformes.

As you can see, the tips of the flight feathers are arranged in a round shape, which is why they fly.

Also, their song are a little interesting, I would like you to listen to it, but you can't observe it until

winter. This winter, you will be visiting the waterside and rice fields!

Adult birds have a very beautiful green luster (the photo is not an adult bird). Is its face kind of funny?

He is transforming now.

Such a feather pattern is the first summer plumage (1S), maybe.

He has to wait at least a year before he can be fascinated by his reflection on the surface of the water.

Who is taking these wonderful photos?

Minoru Tadachi Don't worry be happy

He lives in the heart of Azumino field, works here, looks at birds, flowers and a cloud everyday.
There are springs from Mt.Jonen and Chogatake, lush greenery, wasabi fields and blue sky.
In such daily life, Tadachi-san talks to living things around him everyday.
"Good morning everyone! What are you doing?"
Wild birds and insects reply to him.
"Good morning Tadachi-san! What are you doing?"
In such way, the day begins and ends.
These are wonderful photos from such a country life.
